Our Mission & Values

At Jazzy Jam for Empowerment, we believe in being the change we want to see in our communities. Born from a deep desire to uplift, heal, and inspire, our mission is to sponsor, support, engage, and empower individuals and families while bringing visibility to the critical issues of mental health, emotional well-being, and social justice.

We accomplish this through creative, culturally relevant, and hands-on educational programming, workshops, and training opportunities that are rooted in real-life experiences. Our initiatives are designed not only to promote awareness but also to cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, emotional resilience, and community connection—especially among underserved populations.

Our  Code of Ethics

We pride ourselves aligning our Code of Ethics with the California Department of Health Care Services to guide our staff in their roles and responsibilities in which they function professionally.

A. HOPE

1. Inspire hope in those engaging in services by living a life of Recovery and/or Resiliency.

B. PERSON-DRIVEN

1. Support individuals receiving services and their support network within the context of the individual’s worldview, to achieve their goals based upon their needs and wants.

With our combined knowledge, lived experience and current societal needs as it pertains to social emotional care and mental health wellness, we have cultivated a dynamic...
